Does anyone remember Mr. Kompier, Mrs. Cook, Mrs. Lovett from Fred Booth in the late 70s early 80s. Does anyone know if they are still alive?

Does anyone remember Coach Parsons & Coach Hill from Landrum Elem? I graduated in 1956. So we are looking back to 1950.

Default Do you remember

Does anybody remember a Mr. Robinson , He was my Scoutmaster FOR TROOP 26? He was the Managing editor of The San Benito News also. This was in the late 40s and early fifties. We used to have our Meeting in an old red brick building near the tracks by the old Ice factory. Last time I was there all of those building were history.

Default Miss Berta Cabaza

To celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month, the San Benito News recently published this interesting article. Miss Cabaza used to be my Spanish teacher in Junior High. She was well liked and respected by all her pupils.

Arnold:

Don't know about Coach Parsons, but the last time I saw ( probabley 35 years ago ) Coach Hill he was living in Ft. Worth. When he left San Benito he went to work for the City of Harlingen Parks Department. I worked for him in the summmers of 54 and 55. His name is Eugene Hill.

Harlan Woods might be the only person who would know. He was with Coach Barnes in Seguin. I will try and email him and see if he knows.

As a teacher, I did not have the pleasure of being one of her students.
As a person, she was very sweet and compassionate.
